FloWrestling (flowrestling.org) reported that elite recruit Trent Hidlay has Iowa in his top four. Hidlay, from Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, recently placed second in Freestyle and Greco-Roman at Junior Nationals in Fargo at 170 lbs. Flo has Hidlay ranked second in the country at 170.

The top four schools in the running for this top recruit:
Iowa
Lehigh
North Carolina State
Purdue

I would say that Hidlay is definitely a high priority recruit that Iowa Wrestling is pursuing at this time for the Recruiting Class of 2018 that already includes Nelson Brands of Iowa City, IA and Anthony Cassioppi of Roscoe, IL. Hidlay has the attacking style, aggression, attitude, and work ethic that Iowa Wrestling is built on.

Iowa Wrestling is on a roll for recruiting with the top ranked recruiting class in the country for 2017. Iowa has had great success recruiting in Pennsylvania with recent additions of Michael Kemerer, Kaleb Young, Spencer Lee, and Max Murin.

Hidlay is projected for 174/184 in college. I see Hidlay developing into a real force at 184.

It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling fan.
