The Hawkeye Wrestling Club will be holding their Des Moines Golf Outing on Thursday, September 21. This is an annual fundraiser that is an important part of the yearly fundraising efforts for the HWC. Echo Valley Country Club in Norwalk will be hosting the golf outing. Registration is at Noon and the four person best shot will begin at 1 PM.

The support for the Hawkeye Wrestling Club and Iowa Wrestling in the Des Moines area has been outstanding for decades. Since the end of last season, the support in the Des Moines area has became an even greater force. In a recent interview with me, Tom Brands has this to say about the support in Des Moines:
“We have a new energy in Des Moines. We have always had good support there but we have a group of people that have really stepped up. No is never the answer for these folks and we love it.”
