Nelson Brands of Iowa City, IA (West HS) stormed through the competition to win the 2018 Marines Freestyle Western Regional in Las Vegas, NV. Brands received a bye and then reeled off four straight tech falls to reach the finals. In the finals, Brands scored a fall in 1:13 over Joe Roberts of Illinois to capture the title at 160 lbs.
