Incoming Iowa Wrestling recruit Anthony Cassioppi wrapped up his high school career with even more national titles. Cassioppi defended his reign at Hwt with a 11-0 tech fall in the finals over Austin Emerson of Michigan to win his second straight Junior National title in Greco-Roman.  The title won also completed the second straight Triple Crown for Cassioppi by winning national titles in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman.  That is very impressive.

In his combined matches on his way to winning a Junior National title in Freestyle and Greco-Roman, Cassioppi won by fall or tech fall in 10 of the 11 matches.  His most impressive wins was a fall over Mason Parris of Michigan (#1 – 220) in the semis of FS and tech fall over Nash Hutmacher of South Dakota (#4 – HWT) in the finals.

After a great high school career, Cassioppi will now make his way to the University of Iowa as a true freshman this fall.
