Cory Clark of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club placed second at 61 kg at the Grand Prix of Spain in Madrid. After tech fall wins over opponents from Spain and Hungary, 10-0 and 14-2, Clark faced Tyler Graff in the finals.  Graff won the match 11-4.

Wrestlers from 43 countries competed in the tournament.

Round 1: Clark over Spain, 10-0.

Round 2: Clark over Hungary, 14-2

Finals:  Graff over Clark, 11-4

Alli Ragan of the HWC is also scheduled to compete along with six other members of the the Women’s 2018 World Team on Sunday.
