Former Hawk Thomas Gilman will be representing Team USA at the Yasar Dogu International in Istanbul, Turkey on Friday and Saturday.  The Yasar Dogu will attract numerous World and Olympic champions and medalist from around the world. This tournament will also provide results for seeds at the upcoming World Freestyle Championships in October.

GIlman, the reigning World Silver medalist at 57 kg, has been looking great in the Iowa Wrestling room. Team USA will have our entire lineup for the World Championships competing.

Former Hawkeye national champions Bill Zadick and Mark Perry will be coaches for Team USA.  Zadick is the head coach for Team USA and Perry is the head coach of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
