Quinn Hollan has been named as the new Iowa Wrestling Strength Coach. Hollan, originally from Mid-Prairie High School (Wellman, Iowa), has been a strength coach in football, track, and softball in his career.  Most recently Hollan has been on staff for Chris Doyle at the University of Iowa Football program as a Performance Analyst.  Hollan also served as a Strength coach for Western Kentucky Football.

Hollan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science form Northern Iowa in 2014 and a Master’s of Science in Sports Pedagogy from Mississippi State in 2016.  He graduated from Mid Prairie in 2010.

“We are particular in the type of person we are looking for. Quinn Hollan is an Iowa native  We are looking for  a very specific person to do that job. It’s not just anybody that can do the job. We are very particular in who we are looking for.  We are excited to have him.”

Hollan begins his role as the Iowa Wrestling Strength Coach on Monday, August 13.

Hollan will replace Travis Rutt who left the program in April to pursue a coaching position in Minnesota.
