Iowa Wrestling commit Abe Assad will compete in Who’s #1 on Sunday, October 7. #1 Assad will face #3 Devin Winston of Missouri at 182 lbs. Assad gave a verbal commitment to the University of Iowa for the Recruiting Class of 2019 on August 7. Assad, from Carol Stream, IL (Glenbard HS) won a Bronze at 86 kg/176 lbs. at the Cadet World Freestyle Championships this summer in Zagreb, Croatia. Winston has verbally committed to North Carolina.
Who’s #1 will be held in The Snake Pit of Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. FloWrestling will cover the action live.
Who’s #1 begins at 1 PM CST and Assad is the eighth match of the day.
