Iowa Wrestling recruits will be competing this weekend. Zach Glazier and Ryan Sokol will be competing at the Rumble on the Red in Fargo, North Dakota. This is an 88-team tournament held in the Fargo Dome on December 28-29. This tournament is loaded with some of the top teams in Minnesota as well as North Dakota and South Dakota. Shakopee, Apple Valley, and Owatonna are 1-2-3 in Minnesota 3A and Sokol’s school of Simley is #1 in 2A.
Jesse Ybarra will be competing at the Mile High Challenge in Prescott Valley, Arizona on December 29-30. This will be a 32-team tournament at the Prescott Valley Events Center. The Mile High Challenge is going from a 16-team to a 32-team format this year.
Abe Assad has a dual meet at Carl Sandburg High School on Friday, December 28.
Patrick Kennedy, Cullan and Colby Schriever do not compete until after the first of the year.
