Iowa Wrestling will be sending a strong crew to the UNI Open on Saturday, December 8 in Cedar Falls, IA. The action begins at 9 AM in the UNI-Dome. It was just a year ago that Spencer Lee made his collegiate debut at the UNI Open. The UNI Open has been a strong tournament for decades.
Nelson Brands has looked great this year in winning titles at the Grand View Open and Lindenwood Open at 165. As of right now, Brands is listed at 157, where he certified. This will also be a good test for Anthony Cassioppi who has also looked great in winning titles at the Grand View Open and Lindenwood Open. Brands and Cassioppi are both true freshman.

Iowa will host Lehigh in Carver-Hawkeye Arena Saturday night at 7:30 PM. I am sure there will be fans driving from the UNI-Dome to Carver for a full day and night of Iowa Wrestling.
