Updated national high school rankings have been released by several publications.  I want to take a moment to list where the incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits are ranked.

The incoming recruits have looked great this season and several are climbing the rankings as a results.  The biggest mover of the recruits is Jesse Ybarra of Tucson, AZ (Sunnyside HS). Ybarra started the season being ranked in the mid teens or lower.  Ybarra is now ranked #3, 5, 7 and 8 at 126 by the national rankings listed below.

Ryan Sokol of Inver Grove Heights, MN (Simley HS) has made the national ratings. The Open Mat (TOM) has Sokol ranked #17 at 132 and he is unranked in the other rankings.  Just a sophomore, Sokol has been very impressive this season.

Cobe Siebrecht of Lisbon, Iowa, who committed to the Hawks last week, is ranked #15, 15, 20, and unranked by the national publications listed below.

The future of Iowa wrestling is looking very good out On the Recruiting Trail.
