It will be another big weekend of competition for incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits. Jesse Ybarra is back in action at the 35-team Peoria Wrestling Invitational Tournament of Champions in Peoria, AZ on Friday and Saturday. For any Hawk fans in the area, Patrick Kennedy will be competing at the Osage Duals in Osage, Iowa on Saturday.
Cullan Schriever suffered a broken ankle at the Cheesehead last weekend and will be out of competition until Districts on February 9.
We have a new recruit to follow. Cobe Siebrecht of Lisbon, IA announced on Twitter yesterday that he committed to Iowa. I will now follow Siebrecht in all of his competitions. Siebrecht will be at the Solon Invitational in Solon, a short drive from Iowa City, on Saturday.
