This is the last full weekend of regular season competition for incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits before the tournament season begins. Abe Assad, Cobe Siebrecht and Colby Schriever will be competing in their conference tournaments. Schriever will compete in the CIML Conference Tournament starting at 4 PM this afternoon. Zach Glazier has two home duals on Saturday and Patrick Kennedy and Ryan Sokol have tournaments on Saturday.
Jesse Ybarra does not have any competition scheduled this weekend.
This is always an exciting time of the year in high school wrestling as you see wrestlers begin to get into peak shape for the upcoming tournament season. Just the anticipation of the tournament season will bring out added intensity on the mat.
