Members of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club will be competing at the Granma y Cerro Pelado in Havana, Cuba. Cory Clark (61 kg), Brandon Sorensen (70 kg), and Sammy Brooks (86 kg) will be competing. Cuba has world ranked wrestlers at 61, 70, and 86 kg.
Members of the HWC have been competing in Cuba for decades. HWC Head Coach Mark Perry will be in the corner for the HWC wrestlers.
Competition for freestyle is on Thursday and Friday, February 21-22. I am not aware of a livestream for this event. I will do my best to post results.
