The competition season for the Hawkeye Wrestling Club is about to get even busier.  So far the HWC has had a very good showing at the Yarygin in Russia, Schultz in Colorado, and the Deglane in France.  Now it is time for another wave of competition.

It will be a busy month of February for the HWC.  Lauren Louive will be on a European tour to compete in Sweden and Germany.  Cory Clark, Brandon Sorensen, and Sammy Brooks will be competing in Cuba. Thomas Gilman, Forrest Molinari, and Kayla Miracle will be competing in Bulgaria at the Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov.  This tournament is in the Ranking Series where results will factor into seeds at the 2019 World Freestyle Championships.

In the recent World rankings released by UWW, Thomas Gilman is ranked #3 at 57 kg and Forrest Molinari is ranked #2 at 65 kg.

I will keep you updated with any additional competitions for the HWC.
