The biggest weekend in International wrestling for our country is this weekend in Las Vegas, NV with the U.S. Open and several additional tournaments. Iowa Wrestling will be well represented. Aaron Cashman (57 kg), Nelson Brands (74 kg), Connor Corbin (92 kg), and Anthony Cassioppi (125 kg) will be competing in the UWW Junior National Championships. This tournament is for wrestlers 18-20 years old. Cashman, Brands, and Cassioppi are true freshman and Corbin in a redshirt freshman.
Paul Glynn (60 kg) and Jeren Glosser (70 kg) will be competing in the Senior U.S. Open. Both are redshirt juniors for the Hawkeyes.
The action will take place at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27. All of the action will be streamed live by FloWrestling.
