Kayla Miracle and Michaela Beck of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club will be competing for a spot on a World team this weekend.  The 2019 Women’s National Championships will be held in Irving, TX on May 10-12. National titles will be on the line for seven divisions: 9U, 12U, 14U, UWW U15, UWW Cadet, UWW Junior, and UWW U23. The entire event will be streamed on FloWrestling.

Beck will be in action at the UWW Junior National Championships on Friday beginning at 10 AM CST.  The winner will represent Team USA at the 2019 UWW Junior World Freestyle Championships in Tallinn, Estonia on August 12-18. Beck is currently ranked #3 at 57 kg on Team USA.

Miracle will compete in the U23 National Championships on Sunday.  The winner of the trials will represent team USA at the U23 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary on Oct 28-Nov 3.  Miracle is #1 on Team USA at 62 kg and just won her third U.S. Open title. Miracle will be competing at the Senior World Team Trials in Charlotte, NC on May 17-18 with the winner advancing to Final X in Lincoln, NE on June 15.
