Incoming Iowa Wrestling recruit Abe Assad has been named to the Junior Greco-Roman National Duals All-Tournament Team by USA Wrestling. Assad, from Carol Stream, IL (Glenbard North HS), was 6-0 with four falls and two tech falls at 182 lbs. at Junior Greco-Roman Duals in Tulsa, OK last weekend. Assad competed for Team Illinois that won the team title in GR.
Assad is in the Iowa Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2019.
The next competition for incoming Iowa recruits will be Cadet/Junior Nationals in Fargo, ND on July 13-16.
