Hawkeye Wrestling Club members Alli Ragan, Forrest Molinari, and Kayla Miracle are set to begin their quest to be a World champion.  Ragan (59kg), Molinari (65kg) and Miracle (62kg) will represent Team USA at the Senior World Freestyle Championships in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

Ragan and Molinari will have Qualification Rounds and Semifinals on Wednesday and the Finals on Thursday.  Miracle will have Qualification Rounds and Semifinals on Thursday and the Finals on Friday.

Ragan will face Anzehlina Lysak of Ukraine in the first round and Molinari will face Thi Vinh Nguyen of Vietnam in the first round.

Former Iowa NCAA National champion Terry Steiner is the Head Coach for the USA Women’s Freestyle Team. HWC coach Mark Perry will be in Kazakhstan to coach the HWC wrestlers.
