Iowa Wrestling will have practice open to the public this Saturday, October 12 at 11 AM.  Doors of the Iowa Wrestling room in the Dan Gable Complex will open at 10 AM. The bleachers will be pulled out and fans are welcomed to attend. The practice season begins Thursday so this will be an official practice for Iowa Wrestling.  You will notice the increased intensity in the room compared to the Hawkeye Wrestling Club practices when the Iowa Wrestlers were working out on their own.

This will give Iowa Wrestling fans a great opportunity to come into town just for the practice.  The Iowa-Penn State football game has a 6:30 PM kickoff.  Attending an Iowa Wrestling practice is a game day tradition for a lot of Hawk fans in town for a football game.

If you have never been to an official Iowa Wrestling practice like this before a football game, you are missing out.  In some ways it is even more entertaining than a dual meet.  You will see some serious hard wrestling.  If you are a fan, coach, wrestler, or a parent of a wrestler, watching an Iowa Wrestling practice like this will make you better.  I am expecting a standing room only full house of fans so you may want to get there early to get a seat.

The anticipation for the upcoming season is running high for Iowa Wrestling.  The Hawks open the 2019-2020 season at home when they face Tennessee-Chattanooga on Sunday, November 17 in Carver Hawkeye Arena.  Season tickets are now available for the best home schedule in the history of Iowa Wrestling.

Iowa Wrestling will also host their annual Coaches Clinic on Saturday.  The cost of the clinic will include a ticket to the football game. For more information and to register: http://www.iowawrestlingcamps.com/

It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling fan.

Go Hawks!
