Cory Clark of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club will be competing at the Bill Farrell Memorial International Open at the New York Athletic Club in New York City on Saturday.  Clark will be competing at 57 kg/125 lbs. This is the first competition for Clark down at that weight since he placed fifth at the 2014 NCAA Tournament as a freshman in college at 125 lbs.

Clark was a four-time All American for the Hawks and capped off his career with a national title at 133 lbs. in 2017.  He has competed in International wrestling at 61kg/134 lbs. the last two years.

Clark will be competing in a loaded 57kg division that will include Nick Suriano, Seth Gross, Nahshon Garrett, and more.

Thomas Gilman has already qualified for the Olympic Team Trials at 57kg on April 4-5.
