The Hawkeye Wrestling Club has been hard at work with a promotion called “Drive to 5.”  The goal is to get the HWC up to 500 members in the Inner Circle sector that makes donations monthly.  The goal was also to get to 500 Inner Circle members by Sunday, November 24 for the Iowa-Iowa State dual meet.

HWC President Randy Novak:

“Drive to 5 has been an incredible success.  We are finding that if we provide our message to our fans, they step up and support us. That is exciting as it is a grassroots effort.

Sunday we will announce where we are relative to our goals and while it’s nowhere near where we want to be, it is real progress and gives me hope that we can get the Inner Circle to 1,000 members and beyond.”

With this being an Olympic year and the way that the HWC has grown over the last two years, donations are as important as ever.  The HWC has been a major part of the success of Iowa Wrestling since it began in 1973. It is no coincidence when you look at the success of Iowa Wrestling and the strength and support for the HWC. That partnership has made Iowa Wrestling what it is today.

When you become a member of the Inner Circle, you are helping support HWC members pursuing our 2020 Olympic Team.  You are also assisting Iowa Wrestling in the pursuit of being the best college wrestling program in the country.

Inner Circle membership begins at $25/month.  With your membership to the Inner Circle, you will receive one of a kind HWC apparel and access to a private forum with exclusive content for you as a fan and supporter of the program.
