It was a good weekend for incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits. Patrick Kennedy, Leif Schroeder, Gabe Christenson, and Cam Lucero all won tournaments and Caleb Rathjen was undefeated in a dual meet tournament.
On Saturday, incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits Patrick Kennedy, Leif Schroeder, Gabe Christenson, Brentli Reyna, Wyatt Henson, Cam Lucero, and Caleb Rathjen were a combined 30-0 with 18 pins, 5 tech falls, and 4 major decisions.
Wyatt Henson placed third and Brentli Reyna fourth at the very tough Beast of the East in Delaware. In the consolations, Reyna defeated Victor Voinovich, ranked #1 in the country at 145.
