It is the big opening weekend for our incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits. We have ten incoming recruits from seven different states to follow this season.  I will do my best to get you results of all of their tournaments this season.

The toughest competition for our recruits this weekend will be Caleb Rathjen of Ankeny, Iowa.  Rathjen will be competing at 138 lbs. at the Independence Invitational. #2 ranked and former Iowa commit and Cornell signed recruit Ryan Sokol of Simley High School, #7 ranked Northern Iowa recruit Cael Happel of Lisbon Iowa, and #9 ranked Rathjen.

To have three of the top nine wrestlers in the entire country in a regular season tournament is amazing.  That has to be the toughest bracket in Iowa High School wrestling history. TrackWrestling will have live coverage on their premium service.

I will post results as they become available.  I am very dependent on TrackWrestling for results.  If you have any way to help in getting me results for our recruits, please drop me a line at: [email protected]. Thank you.
