DeSanto put on a display of Iowa Wrestling with a relentless attack and scoring points. A lot of points. After surrendering an opening takedown in the first 0:07, DeSanto went on to score three takedowns in the first, five in the second, and four more takedowns in the third to have the match stopped at 5:44 for the tech fall.
DeSanto placed fifth in the country last season and is currently ranked #2 at 133 lbs. DeSanto is a true junior from Exeter, Pennsylvania and is 12-1 on the season with one pin, five tech falls, and three major decisions.
