New rankings for TrackWrestling, InterMat, and the NWCA (National Wrestling Coaches Association) came out yesterday and today.  Iowa remains #1 in the team race and by roughly the same margin as the last rankings three weeks ago.

Iowa has had a few wrestlers dip down a few spots with Max Murin (141) and Jacob Warner (197), but Abe Assad is the highest ranked Iowa wrestler this season for Iowa at 184 in the new rankings.  So overall, pretty much a wash.

Iowa fans are very well read on the Big Ten, but these rankings are a help to shed light on wrestlers from other conferences across the country.

I feel as those these rankings are fair as far as Iowa Wrestling goes.

The next two months are going to be a great ride for wrestling fans.  As a matter of fact, the NCAA Finals are two months from tonight. That is exciting just to think about.
