Incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits had a successful weekend. Gabe Christenson was the only recruit that competed in a traditional tournament. Christenson won the always tough Ed Winger Invitational at Urbandale with a fall in :10 and a tech fall to win the title at 195.
In dual meet tournaments, Patrick Kennedy, Bretli Reyna, Cam Lucero, and Caleb Rathjen were all undefeated.
On the weekend, incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits were 12-0 with 10 pins, one tech fall, and one major decision.
Several recruits will have their conference tournament next weekend as other recruits will be heading into the tournament portion of the schedule.
