Zach Glazier picks up his third Iowa Wrestling Fan Blog & Podcast Wrestler of the Week award this season. Glazier won the 197 lbs. title at the UWEC Don Parker Open in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Glazier was 4-0 with two falls, a tech fall, and a 20-7 major decision in the finals.
Glazier is a true freshman from Albert Lea, Minnesota. Already this season Glazier has won titles at the Grand View Open, Lindenwood Open, and Jim Koch Open. On the season Glazier is 19-2 with six pins, two tech falls, and six major decisions. His only losses on the season were at Midlands with an 8-5 decision to #3 Pat Brucki of Princeton and a 2-1 decision to J.T. Brown of Army West Point.
