The peak of recruiting season is here. October 8-10 will be the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for Iowa Wrestling.  The defending national champion Hawkeyes will entertain eighteen wrestlers from around the country for the Recruiting Class of 2022 and 2023.

Iowa will host Penn State in a showdown of top five nationally ranked football teams on national TV on Saturday at 3PM.  Iowa City will be a buzz of excitement.  This will be a great weekend to be an Iowa Hawkeye fan. What a great environment to show recruits what the University of Iowa is all about.

After a year of recruiting being shut down we are getting a huge weekend as fans for the following list of recruits that will be in town for their official visit.

*Committed to Iowa Wrestling and Football on 9/19/21

I have been saying for years that Ryan Morningstar is the best college wrestling recruiter in the country and there is nobody better than Tom Brands at closing the deal for a commitment from a recruit.

Morningstar will find them.

Tommy will sign them.

Terry will train them.

It is great to be an Iowa Wrestling fan.

Go Hawks!
