Incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits went 9-1 in the semifinals of the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament. To have nine incoming recruits in the Iowa High School State Finals is an impressive feat and has to be an Iowa Wrestling record.
At 160 lbs. in 3A it will be a battle of future Iowa Wrestling teammates with Carson Martinson (Southeast Polk) vs. Aiden Riggins (W-SR).
Also in a future Hawkeye matchup Easton Fleshman defeated incoming Iowa Football recruit Aaron Graves (Southeast Valley (Gowrie) 4-1 in the semifinals.
The Finals begin at 6 PM on Saturday night and are available on the app for IHSSN (Iowa High School Sports Network). On Medicom the Finals will be live on channel 22.
The Grand March followed by the State Finals is as good as it gets for wrestling fans in Iowa.
