Cobe Siebrecht has been named the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week. After being in a headlock, Siebrecht scrambled through and pinned #10 Anthony Artalona of Penn in 4:02. The pin capped off the dual meet with Iowa winning 26-11.
Last week Siebrecht entered the national rankings for the first time at #29. This week he is ranked #14 by Amateure Wrestling News, #20 by WIN, and #25 by InterMat.
Siebrecht is a Junior from Lisbon, Iowa where he was a state champion and two time state runner-up. Siebrecht has been named Academic All-Big Ten the last two years and is majoring in Enterprise Leadership.
