Iowa will be on the road with a dual meet at Chattanooga (TN) on Saturday night at 6 PM CST. The Hawks are fresh off of a big dual meet win at home over Iowa State. This will be the last competition for Iowa before the Christmas break.

Spencer Lee is not listed at 125 and I certainly did not expect him to compete. New to the Probable Lineup this week is Jesse Ybarra along with Cullan Schriever at 133. Ybarra competed at 125 last season but has yet to see action this year.

Real Woods is also listed with Drew Bennett at 141. I hope we see Woods in the lineup for the remainder of the season. He is an entertaining wrestler with the potential to win it all.

For the first time this season Cobe Siebrecht is the only wrestler listed at 157. Siebrecht won the wrestle off and is 5-0 with five pins and three major decisions for the season. Siebrecht is the only Iowa wrestler to score bonus points in every match this year. Now anywhere from #14 to #24 in the rankings Siebrecht has been impressive so far this year.

The biggest match of the night will be at 174 with #14 Nelson Brands vs #16 Rocky Jordan. Jordan transferred from Ohio State. Brands is 2-0 on the year after returning to the lineup for the Penn and Iowa State dual meets.

After Saturday night the Hawks will be off until the Soldier Salute on December 29-30 in Coralville. Iowa will start Big Ten competition with a home dual meet against Illinois on Friday, January 6 with Fan Appreciation Day.

The Chattanooga meet will be available on 800 AM KXIC and streamed on ESPN+ premium service.
