Myles Wilson, Junction, CO (Glenwood Springs HS)  has committed to the University of Iowa.  Wilson was a Colorado State champion at 170 last season.  He also wrestled a lot of Freestyle and Greco-Roman in the off season.  Wilson competed in both Freestyle and GR at Junior Nationals this year where he scored an impressive 9-4 decision over Iowa State recruit Marcus Coleman in Freestyle.

Wilson is expected to compete at 174.

The Iowa Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2017 is up to five.  I will keep you up to date with any additional signings.  The most anticipated is Jacob Warner of Illinois who is projected at 197 and has Iowa as a finalist.  Hawkeye fans like me are holding our breath hoping that Warner picks Iowa.  I am projecting that Warner will make his commitment no later than National Signing Day on November 16th.
