Incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits Zach Glazier and Patrick Kennedy have been named First Team Academic All-State by The Guillotine. Glazier, from Albert Lea, MN (Albert Lea Area HS), is a two-time state champion and was 47-0 this past season in winning a AAA state title at 182 lbs. As a member of the National Honor Society, Glazier has a 3.94 GPA and was also named First Team MWCA Academic All-State. Glazier is in the Iowa Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2019.
Kennedy, from Kasson-Mantorville, MN, is a three-time state champion that won a AA state title at 182 lbs. this season with a 46-0 record. Kennedy has a 3.68 GPA and was also named First Team MWCA Academic All-State. Kennedy is a member of the Iowa Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2020.
The Guillotine is the recognized sources of amateure wrestling in the state of Minnesota.
