Michaela Beck of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club will be representing Team USA at the Junior World Freestyle Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.  Beck will be competing at 59kg against the best wrestlers in the world in the Junior division of 20 years and younger. HWC Head Coach Mark Perry is in Estonia and will be coaching Beck.

Beck looked very good in winning the Junior World Team Trials in Dallas in May.  She was 6-0 with four tech falls and two decisions.  

Competition for Beck begins on Wednesday, August 14 with the Qualification Rounds at 2:30 AM CST.  All times listed are CST. The Semifinals are slated for later that day at 9:15 AM. The Finals for 59kg will be on Thursday, August 15 at 10 AM.
