Brentli Reyna and Wyatt Henson were the only incoming Iowa recruits competing this weekend.  Reyna placed second at the Knockout Christmas Classic. Reyna was 5-1 in the tournament and dropped a 5-4 finals match to Caleb Henson, 5-4.  Henson is ranked #14 in the country.

Wyatt Henson placed third at the Powerade in Delaware.  Powerade is always considered one the top five toughest tournaments in the country every year.  Henson was 5-1 and placed third in a very tough weight class. Henson placed only behind the #1 and #2 ranked wrestlers in the country.

Reyna is in the Iowa Wrestling Recruiting Class of 2020 and Henson is in the Class of 2021.

There will be a full slate of competition for our incoming recruits next weekend.  I will be back with a preview later in the week.
