Spencer Lee has been named as the Iowa Wrestling Fan Blog & Podcast Wrestler of the Week. Lee dominated the field in winning his first Big Ten title at 125 lbs. After a Quarterfinal pin and a tech fall in the Semifinals, Lee defeated Devin Schroder of Purdue by a 16-2 major decision. Schroder was ranked #6 in the country.
Lee has been dominating his competition this year and looks to be getting better with each match. A true junior from Murrysville, Pennsylvania and two-time NCAA National champion, Lee is 18-0 with 4 pins, 9 tech falls, 3 major decisions, and a forfeit.
