Iowa Wrestling received Class of 2022 commitments from Brad Hill and Drake Rhodes to add to an amazing week of recruiting. Hill, from Bettendorf, Iowa, is ranked #10 nationally at 220 lbs. by MatScouts. Hill was 31-0 last season in winning a state title at 220 and was named the Quad Cities Metro Wrestler of the Year. He placed sixth as a sophomore. Bettendorf has been a powerhouse for wrestling in Iowa for decades and have sent several wrestlers to compete at Iowa including in the Tom Brands era.
Rhodes is from Billings, Montana (West HS) where he won a state title last season (152) and as a freshman (113) while placing second as a sophomore (126). He has been attending the Iowa Wrestling camps since he was in grade school. Rhodes committed on Friday and will be joining the program as a preferred walk-on. Rhodes is expected to compete at 165/174 at Iowa. Rhodes is the first of the eleven commitments that Iowa Wrestling has received this year that is not from the state of Iowa.

Hill and Rhodes are the ninth and tenth recruits to commit to Iowa in just the last week. I have never seen Iowa Wrestling secure that many commitments in a single week.
I will keep you up to date right here with any more Iowa Wrestling commitments.
I have been saying for years that Ryan Morningstar is the best college wrestling recruiter in the country and there is nobody better than Tom Brands at closing the deal for a commitment from a recruit.
Morningstar will find them.
Tommy will sign them.
Terry will train them.
