Jace Rhodes of Mason City, Iowa was yet another recruit to commit to the Hawks after the huge recruiting weekend of October 9-10. Rhodes was a state runner-up as a freshman and placed fifth the last two years.
Rhodes won a Junior state freestyle title at 132 lbs. last season and is a member of the outstanding Recruiting Class of 2022. He is projected to compete at 141.
Rhodes comes from a strong wrestling family and is a prototypical Iowa high school product that will train, work, and compete hard. Rhodes will join former Mason City teammate Cullen Schriever in the Hawkeye program.
We have a lot to follow this season with 13 incoming recruits competing all across the country. I will do my best to bring you results this season for all of our incoming recruits right here on my blog.
The future looks great for Iowa Wrestling.
