This will be a big weekend of competition for our incoming recruits as the regular season begins to wind down. Jesuroga, Jesuroga, Martinson, Martinson, and Hill will all be at the Ed Winger Invitational in Urbandale. This has been one of the top tournaments in Iowa for years. Ed Winger was “The Voice” of the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament for decades who had the famous line:
“Wrestlers, clear the mats! Wrestlers, clear the mats!”
Drake Rhodes will be competing at AA Duals in Great Falls as the tournament season begins for our recruits. Several of our recruits will be competing at tournaments hosted by their home school in Riggins, Block, and Kueter. The only two-day tournament will be Easton Fleshman at the Herb Igrens Invitational in Ida Grove on Friday and Saturday.
Gabe Arnold will be in one of the top dual meets of the season this year when Wyoming Seminary hosts Blair Academy in a clash of highly nationally ranked teams tonight.
