Victoria Francis of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club will be competing in the Bout at the Ballpark. Francis will represent Team USA at 76 kg in a dual meet with Mongolia. The Men’s USA Freestyle team takes on Iran while Iowa and Oklahoma State do battle at Globe Life Field in Arlington ,Texas on Saturday, February 12.
Francis joined the HWC in September and is currently ranked #3 on Team USA for our Women’s Freestyle team. She is a two-time (2017,’19) Senior World Team member at 76 kg and placed fifth at the 2019 World Championships.
Former Iowa NCAA National champion Terry Steiner is the head coach for the USA Women’s Wrestling team.
The event will be broadcast live through FloWrestling.
