Jacob Warner is ranked #4 in the country and is the #4 Big Tens pre-seed at 197. I do not understand the pre-seed but I would not mind if that is how the final seeds hold up. 197 is loaded with #1, 3, 4, and 5 ranked wrestlers in the entire country and eleven wrestles ranked in the top twenty-nine.

I believe you can expect a lot of close matches at 197 at Big Tens in every round. This may be a weight where it comes down to who is hot at the right time. We will see a lot of the matches at Big Tens happen again at Nationals. What depth at 197 that you will only find in the Big Ten.

I still believe Jacob Warner can beat any wrestler in the country at 197 lbs. He has his own style of close matches. As I already mentioned I am expecting a lot of close matches at Big Tens for two reasons. Real tough nationally ranked opponents and the fact that they have wrestled each other this year or in the past. Mat wrestling has added value this time of year with close matches and I like Warner’s chances. This will be a fun weight to watch.
