University of Iowa Hawkeye Tony Cassioppi will compete at the 2023 U23 World Freestyle Championships in Pontevedra, Spain this weekend. Cassioppi will represent Team USA at 125 kg as the defending World champion in this tournament.
Cassioppi is a senior from Roscoe, IL (Hononegah HS) and a three time All American for the Hawks at Hwt.
First round action begins at 3:30 AM Saturday (October 22) with the semifinals at 9:45 AM. Finals are slated for Sunday (October 23) at 11 AM. All time listed are CST.
FloWrestling will provide a live stream for the entire U23 World Championships on their premium service.
