Our incoming Iowa Wrestling recruits competed today. Ryder Block won the 138 lbs. title at the Frank Baltzley Invitational in Johnston. After a tech fall and fall, Block pinned Donovan Card of Norwalk in the finals in 4:00.
Gabe Arnold pinned Kaden Bush of Interstate 35 in 1:56 to win the 182 lbs. title at the Saydel Invitational.
Kale Petersen was 4-0 with four pins at the Ogden Duals. Petersen recorded pins in 3:51, 3:56, :58, and 2:55.
Keyan Hernandez started his junior season at the Jim Street Mining City Duals. Hernandez was 6-0 for the tournament with five first period pins and one tech fall. Impressive tournament.
Nate Jesuroga and Ben Kueter did not compete today.
