InterMat released their rankings today. It is still Iowa-Penn State for 1-2 in the Tournament and Dual Meet Rankings. Compared to last week in tournament team points Iowa went down six points and Penn State went down .5 points. The lead for Penn State is now 109-72.5.
Cornell and Missouri are now tied for third at 66.5 points. The Dual Meet Rankings top four remained the same with Penn State – Iowa – Iowa State – Michigan.
The were only three changes for the rankings for Iowa wrestlers. Cullan Schriever went from 17 to 18 at 133. Max Murin went from 4 to 7 at 149. At 157 Cobe Siebrecht went from 20 to 21.
The remaining seven weights were the same in the rankings.
Iowa will compete next on Friday, January 20 at 8 PM when #5 Nebraska comes to town. Sold out legendary Carver-Hawkeye Arena will be packed for the big rivalry meet that is also Military Appreciation Day. Should be a great meet.
