InterMat released their rankings today. It is still Penn State-Iowa for 1-2 in the Tournament and Dual Meet Rankings. Compared to last week in tournament team points Iowa went down 2.5 points and Penn State went up 5.5 points. The lead for Penn State is now 114.5-70.

Cornell and Missouri are still tied for third at 66.5 points. The only change in the Dual Meet Rankings was Cornell replacing Michigan at 4. It is now Penn State – Iowa – Iowa State – Cornell.

The were five changes in the rankings for Iowa wrestlers. Brody Teske replaced Cullan Schriever in the rankings at 133 and is rated #17. At 157 Cobe Siebrecht went up from 21 to 15. Patrick Kennedy dropped from 10 to 13 at 165. At 184 Abe Assad went from 8 to 12. Jacob Warner bumped up from 8 to 7 at 197.

The remaining weights were the same in the rankings.

Iowa will compete next on Friday, January 27 at 7:30 PM CST at #1 Penn State.
