InterMat released their rankings today. It is still Iowa-Penn State for 1-2 in the Tournament and Dual Meet Rankings. Compared to last week Penn State went down 7 points and Iowa went up 7.5 points in the team race. The lead for Penn State is now 107.5-77.5.
Missouri is now third at 67.5 and Cornell is fourth at 61.5.
The top four in dual meet rankings remained the same of Penn State – Iowa – Iowa State – Cornell.
There were only two changes in the rankings for Iowa wrestlers. Max Murin went from #7 to #6 at 149. Patrick Kennedy made a big jump up from #13 to #7 at 165. That is the highest that Kennedy has ever been ranked.
The remaining eight all stayed the same in the rankings.
Iowa will compete next on the road at #23 Minnesota on Friday, February 3 at 8 PM CST.
