Members of the Iowa Women’s Wrestling team and incoming recruits are registered to compete at Women’s Nationals this weekend. Nationals for U23, U20, U17, and U15 will take place in The Podium in Spokane, Washington. These tournaments are a part of the World Team Trials process to represent Team USA at the World Championships.
U23 Nationals will be on Friday and Saturday, April 14-15. U20 Nationals will be on Saturday-Sunday, April 15-16.
Felicity Taylor will compete at 53 KG in the U23 Nationals. Taylor represented Team USA in the World Cup last December.
Kylie Welker will be competing at 76 KG in the U20 Nationals. Welker was the #1 recruit in the country for the Class of 2022. Incoming recruits Rose Cassioppi will be at 76 KG and Emily Frost at 59 KG.
