Kyle Klingman of FloWrestling has released a P4P (Pound for Pound) ranking of the top 25 women’s college wrestlers in the country.

The new Iowa Women’s Wrestling team is well represented with three wrestlers ranked in the top seven and five in the top nineteen.

Kylie Welker is listed at third followed by Felicity Taylor at fifth. Bella Mir is seventh, Marlynne Deede at thirteen and Nyla Valencia at nineteen.

Iowa is the first Power 5 Conference to have women’s wrestling and will have their first year of competition in the upcoming season.

Iowa looks to have the firepower to be a force right away in year one.
