The Iowa Women’s Wrestling team crowned six champs at the Princeton Open today in Princeton, New Jersey. In addition to the six champs Iowa also had two wrestlers place second and two placed third.
Winning titles for the Hawks: Emily Gonzales (101), Ava Bayless (109), Brianna Gonzalez (116), Felicity Taylor (123), Haley Ward (170), and Alivia White (191).
Placing second: Sterling Dias (101), Ella Schmit (143).
The Hawks were dominating throughout the day with tech falls and pins. This young squad has so much talent in just their first year of official competition. You also need to factor in that there were at least four elite Hawks that did not compete this weekend.

Iowa will make their Carver-Hawkeye debut next Sunday, November 12 when they host the Trailblazer Duals starting at 11 AM.
